Mature, dog rescue activist - involved in dachshund rescue and Therapy Dog work. We have 10 personal dogs (mostly doxies).
My camera: Nikon D50..usual lense, Tamron 70-300mm.
I'm a granny (64) who loves dogs and taking pictures...I'm not good at sunsets, sunrises, pastoral scenes, oceans, etc. WHat I enjoy most and seem to get the best results from are dogs and flowers. I freely apply PhotoSHop enhancing when I think it will ENHANCE!...My "hobby" is taking some of my photos and making them look like paintings. I like finding something in a picture that might have missed at first glance, and focusing on that and really sprucing it up.
I've also just broken new ground on making abstract and fractal images..just for the fun and hopefully the beauty of it.
I am so totally enjoying looking at all the beautiful photos in Flickr..I am obviously NOT as good as many of them, but the more I look at them, the more I learn and hopefully, that is making me better and better.
God bless you all...and I thank God for all the things He made that we take so much pleasure in seeing and photographing.
