As an amateur photographer, I define myself as the documentary kind. I prefer to focus my lens on humanity and poverty and other political sense stuffs. I don't think to disclose the dark side of the society is bad; instead, I quite agree with the perspective that the meaning of photography is to reflect the reality, by which the photographer is sending a sense of commitment and the concerns, thus to elicit the compassion from public and to take actions against the bad in the case where the public have identified with the concerns from the photographer.

I admit that I have been influenced much by the photographers of the FSA's photography program. and I always dream to copy another program in China to document both the urban and rural development of China, specifically on the Chinese civil rights movement.

In addition to my political sense of photographs, I do all kinds of photography in free time. I am willing to learn every aspect of photography, ranging from techniques to history. Of course, I am fascinated with every sorts of new photography, HDR, Time Lapse or whatever experimental or advanced, and willing to give a shot by myself. Anyway, the only criteria I have for photographs is "beautiful"!

I'm a law school student and an activist of social work.
