I live two blocks from the Beaver River, six miles north of its confluence with the Ohio. My city-town is just shy of 10,000 people. While recovering from the demise of the WPA steel industry, my home longs to redetermine its identity. Most notable celebrities are sports heroes and the fictional Mr. Belvedere.

I guess I could say my day job is a stay-at-home dad. Playing, reading, and eating popsicles occupies a significant portion of my time. Otherwise I teach as an adjunct in 19th and 20th Century Humanities and work on my dissertation for a graduate program based at a catholic university 40 minutes south.

My wife is beautiful, thoughtful, and kind.
