I've started a new blog for nature and wildlife photography tips, techniques, gear, etc.

Please don't post invites on my photos. I appreciate all visits and comments, but the invite craziness on flickr has gone too far. Thank you.

New contacts that have a small amount of photos, and thousands of contacts will most likely be ignored by me... It's not that I won't respond to enthusiastic / serious photographers, it's that sometimes people spam contacts and now I'm wise to that (i.e users that add "flickr users" as contacts purely to get comments/favs). If you don't share many photos, but like to have contacts and keep up with their photos, I can usually distinguish this. If this is the case, feel free to add me as a contact, and I'll understand..

I like taking photographs. And now videos too! my youtube page...

My interests are in animal, nature, zoo, wildlife photography. I enjoy going to the zoo, taking photos, seeing familiar faces (animals, people), and being out in general. Wildlife is another interest of mine, especially bald eagles. While I started taking animal photos at the zoo, I've become very motivated to get out and experience nature, and photograph it. As of 3/2007 I've been shooting at the zoo for 16 months and wildlife for about a year.

Thanks to flickr and the inspiration and feedback of its members, I've really run with it over the 2+ years since I joined in late August 2005.
