I shoot all my photos with a compact, pocket digital camera. My SLR days were over before the D was invented :-) Of course I know that large sensor cameras produce better quality images, but if I had such a camera it would just stay at home, hardly taking any pictures at all.

About my previous account which has been deleted by Flickr staff:

I was deleted for being "creepy"!

Some 'kind' person had sent a Report Abuse to the Flickr police and my (pro) account was deleted without a warning or even a notice. Suddenly I saw "This member is no longer active on Flickr" when I tried to view my stream.

After pressing the matter with the staff I got the reason that " Voyeur content is a violation of the Flickr Community Guidelines and Yahoo! Terms of Service ".

In my opinion my content was not voyeur as all my photos were taken in public places and I was never trying to hide myself, but even if it was voyeur, there's nothing in the terms nor in the community guidelines against voyeur content.

But Flickr staff pointed me to the Don’t be creepy. You know the guy. Don't be that guy line in the guidelines. That, must be clear to anybody, is an obvious rule against voyeur content!

So there you have it, I'm just that creepy guy!


Did you know that to send a "Report Abuse" you don't have to be signed in or even to have a flickr account at all?

You can't leave a comment on a photo without being a logged in member of flickr, but any bozo can just click that report abuse at the bottom of any flickr page and anonymously throw a can of worms at anyone he feels like.

And to the snitching person who fixed me: I hope you're satisfied, you've dealt me a devastating blow.
