Greetings & thanks for dropping by.
My gear is a Nikon D80 I bought in early 2008. It's my first camera in 20 years, or since my Olympus OM-1 fell off a bike in Egypt way back in 1989 and promptly retired from service. Attached to it is a Nikkor 18-135mm lens (the Nikon, not the bike) or a Nikkor 70-300 mm lens.
Nowadays I manipulate almost every photo, usually in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Lightroom 3 and Photoshop, at least up to the point I know how to make any use of those programs. Some get minor treatment while others are far removed from the original. It ought to be rather easy to spot which is which.
Although automatic copyrights to one‘s own photos is a given matter of a fact (see here) it bears repeating that I hold the copyright of all the images in my photostream. I do not mind them being used on non-commerical and non-political websites if linked and/or credited correctly. In the unlikely event of commercial demand, see my e-mail here to the right.
I´d also like to express my thanks for all the encouraging comments from fellow Flickrites. I really do attempt to keep up paying in kind, but apart from being horribly clichéd, time is factor that constantly works against me.
Thankfully, this here is a sentiment shared by many: Please refrain from commenting with huge, flashy and/or moving logos or promotions. Awful monstrosities. A good old cliché will do fine instead. I accept most invitations from group administrators to post my photos... but not in those groups which have logos of this descriptions, and not in closed (private) groups either.

Arni is the one of the best if not the best artists/photographers you are going to find! I sit in amazement at his ability to churn out amazing image after amazing image. I sometimes find myself thinking, "does he ever do anything not great"?!?!
