Add existing contacts to my groups en masse
|
|
I was going through each of my groups, and having to do invites one at a time. But on one my groups, all of my contacts on my account were laid out and I just ticked the check mark. How do I find this feature again in my other groups, so that I do not have to add one at a time. Which is very frustrating and time consuming.

First, just to be clear, you aren't adding people to your groups.
You are inviting them to join, if they want to.
And, second, Flickr removed the ability to send mass invites to hundreds of people at once. It is no longer a feature of the group invite page.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
Fully understood that I am sending invites if they want to join.
But if they removed it, how did I get the screen showing all of my contacts on the 'Invite people to join' screen.

FyrSyde:
Flickr did not remove the feature, they simply hid it. The feature, allowing you to easily invite hundreds of contacts to your groups, is still available. The details are here: www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/115171/

Thank you jakerome! Thank you so much. That is exactly what I was looking for. For Colleen thank you as well, but adding the following to the invite page URL will achieve what I was looking for.

Glad to be of help. That's a tip that should be widely shared instead of being so secret that even the regulars seem to be unaware of it.
