RESOLVED; Buying Flickr pro with PayPal

Tamara Artis  Pro User  says:

Hello, I tried to buy pro account 2 days ago, since I have heard many people had troubles paying I bought 3 months to try. Well it didn't work.

I choosed to pay with my PayPal account, which has enough money, it is verified and has a funding source - my credit card. After completing the payment I got an error message saying something went wrong, I forgot what exactly did it say...

Then went to search through Help forum and found a possible solution, to delete and add my PayPal from their Wallet. I did that, and left it to stay like that for 24 hours.

The next day, after seeing that nothing is changed and I am still on free account I contacted help and created a case - [Flickr Case 2338116] Re: Paying for Flickr Pro, wrote everything I did so far, c/p all infos and got an answer to check my billing history details, make sure I have a funding source on my PayPal account and if everything is ok to delete and add PayPal from Yahoo! Wallet. I did all that before contacting support and I wrote in my first mail that I did it.

After their reply I went through my PayPal one more time, making sure everything is correct, and I deleted it from my Yahoo! Wallet for second time.

Now, Yahoo billing site shows no details except PayPal account as billing method. Does any of you have advices what I can do and get someone from Satff to actually read my mail and go through details because I got a feeling that all I got in their reply is an automated message they send to everyone. Their reply suggested to do things I allready did...

I don't know if its important to add that I sign into Flickr with my Google account, from the first day I am using it.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I know nothing about paypal, but if you have a credit card, couldn't you just use that instead? I've always paid by credit card and the transactions have been instantaneous.

Hello Tamara Artis,

Unfortunately, I don't think i can be much help with your problem. I can see that your paypal transaction is rejected, but I have no information of why it is rejected. Please continue to work with our billing team via your existing help case, they should be able to give you more information or you can contact paypal to find out why your transaction is rejected.

I've added some Pro to your account to get you started : )

Not in your case, as you'd lose your money when your account was deleted for spamming.

Update:

Flickr support advised me to contact PayPal support and see why they didn't receive a payment,
PayPal support sent me a general reply they send to everyone with advices what to check. Basically all infos I found before contacting them.
So I deleted and added all infos both on Flickr and PayPal and tried to buy pro one more time. This time the payment went through without a problem.

eMiLy @_@: thank you again for gift, maybe this time the payment went through because I allready had pro:) All other infos were same and nothing changed except that.
