I'm trying to connect some flickr photos to another website. It is telling me my username is invalid?? Isn't my username sdriven1?

"Connect" is an ambiguous term in this context. Can you be more specific? Are you using a third-party app on the website to display Flickr photos? If so, which one? And have you contacted its makers?
Also, Flickr doesn't have anything called a "username".

I'm trying to connect to something called involver, which will take my flickr photos to my facebook photography page, it keeps asking for my username. even tho there is no user name in flickr. heard about this before? and what 3rd party programs that actually work do you recommend?

The Facebook linking thing has never worked reliably since the beginning, I would suggest just uploading straight to FB.

For getting images to Facebook? I'd suggest either uploading to Facebook, as Kiwirat says above, or placing a link there (copy the URL of the Flickr photopage and paste the URL into Facebook).

Honestly, I'd suggest contacting the developer of that app and reminding them that Flickr doesn't have a 'username', and asking them which identifier they need.
I've used several third-party apps and sites that connect with Flickr, and many of them do erroneously ask for a "username". I've contacted the makers of a few of them, and a couple have actually updated their apps to use correct language.
They either want the screen name, or your URL, or your NSID:
