Oh hi, i seem to have this problem too as have just started a new topic......sorry, i didn't see yours. I hate not being able to see new photos from friends and worry that they'll think i'm ignoring their new pics.........lol

hmmm... no problems with my own notifications, I'll send a note to the Flickr Postmaster General to see if any of the boxes that send emails out is taking a non-authorized break.

i have not recieved any email notifications either, so, what am i suppose to do how will i know if my pictures are there or not, and how do i ,or what do i do to get them up on my computer do i still go into yahoo or do i have my own address to pull them up ,i don't undrestand can you explain it to me please, or can i use kodak gallery, cause i have alot of pictures there.thanks gr_patterson2003

Well, 23:40pm and still no mails bar one at 6pm.......i'm away visiting a friend all day tomorrow so i've no idea whether i'll get mails or not.....i check back in here tomorrow evening......i do hope it's been fixed as i hate not seeing my friends photos immediately :-))))))))

I started the migration process ages ago and never received a notice about completion, nor have the photos arrived in my Flickr account. I recently got a message on e-mail to make a decision, which I have already done and my account on Yahoo Photos is shut down for the migration, but still no photos on Flickr. Yahoo Photos says to log onto Flickr for my photos. No photos. I'm getting very anxious about this.

Here another Flickr Pro member without e-mail notifications since 2 days. Non received with notifications with comments on my pictures and also non received with noitifications that my friends posted some new pictures.
Please solve this problem as soon as possible. I'm not paying for this service for nothint I presume?

me as well . just checked and found 3 comments sent hours ago which have not been notified by e mail to me.this has been going on for 2 days.Flickr should announce if they are having technical problems so we don't have to search around for explanations in my opinion.

Just visit the main flickr.com page when logged in, and that link is there, Photos from your Contacts.

I/ve had no e-mail notifications for three days now. I'm beginning to get a little bit angry. People, we are paying for this. This is not correct? Perhaps it's happening because they're stopping with yahoo and everything is not going as smoothly as they'd like it to happen. I think they should send all the members a kind of notification about what's happening outthere.

hi again....
right now i got an response to my mail 2 days ago. yahoo told me in one sentence it wouldn´t be their problem i should contact my mail provider. ....very very kind.
now i found a new mail support of flickr, wrote another mail to them.
you all should do the same

Still no mails at my end..........i have been going into 'contacts' at the top of the page but like andie.smith says it's very time consuming and i have to keep going back to each page to double check.....it's annoying and tomorrow will be the 4th day without e-mails for new photo notifications.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Mine are back, thank you flickr kids!
And I find it a little bit ridiculous that there are people so frustrated by this. Flickr is a huge site and the fact that it runs so smoothly 95% of the time is amazing; I can handle not getting emails for 2 days and so can you.

I didn't get any e-mail notifications 2 days ago and it was strange... but then I checked Flickr site and there was no mail in my Flickr mail box either. With some other problems running (see other current topic e.g. about adding new friends etc.) my guess is that slowly Flickr is getting filled up and bursting with the amount of data and tasks that system is unable to handle. This is first such serious warning since I am here, but I guess not last, unless there will be some serious response from Flickr managments.

Yes, still no email notifications here either now well into the forth day of this flickr crisis.
Maybe this is setting the scene of the future here on flickr, as increasing load is placed upon the limited resources, the service will slow down to a crawl further still, the hiccups screens and services like email notifications (all of which are already major problems) will continue to slide until flickr becomes unusable!!

My recent contacts page is also not working. Some people's new photos show up, others are not showing up. I keep having to go find people and check them to see if they've uploaded anything new.

I notice that this subject has been removed as an official topic on flickr.
