Completely changes the entire site's functionality - everything was fine yesterday, now today Yahoo owns Flickr and nothing works!!
I can't add photos to groups, I can't upload, I can't add my own photos to my galleries, my images don't appear in searches, I can't change my account URL, I can't view photos on my TV, my images aren't appearing in Explore anymore, I can't delete my account, my spel-chek is'nt wurking. It was all fine yesterday, now Flickr doesn't love me...

We all know that Yahoo bought Flickr because they were unable to generate a success by themselves. But I truly hate the new logo. Just as I hated being swallowed by Yahoo back then.
What does Yahoo care about photography? It's just a greedy corporation in pursuit of profit. And now they want to take credit for Flickr?
All of us, who have been loyal to the original concept, and who loves photography, we made Flickr! Not Yahoo!
That's why this is far more than just a new logo: It's a rude, condescending insult to all of us!!!
Now more than ever, it's time to find a new community devoted to photography instead of dollars.

Of course if flickr lost the pink and blue (and replaced it with something neurtal like grey) it wouldn't be the end of the world. If they replaced it with purple, then yes, it would be the end of the world. Riots everywhere here.

flickr should not make advertisement for yahoo, it should not show capitalism. It's better to act as a stand alone community for photos, not for showing the influence of a big company.
Users are paying for their pro account's, so there is no need for a yahoo logo here. It's unfortunally enough that we have to log on over the yahoo system.

it sucks, but yahoo is desperate for its brand to be more prominent. desperate desperate desperate.
it's like: "flickr, brought to you by yah-hey we're cool .. right? guys, we're cool too? right?"
desperate. you know i used to care but at this point i have to admit it's just entertaining. like rubbernecking on the highway at the scene of an accident or something.
that, and it clashes. i'm curious how many forms need to be filed and how high up flickr would have to go at yahoo to break the style guide and display the logo in anything other than purple.

Aesthetically it's a horrible misfit.
And besides, when this logo was placed in the bottom right hand corner, it was an active link to Yahoo.com. This functionality is gone now. So, now we all see more than clear who owns Flickr's ass... but no link leads us to the caring parent company.
Another piece in the line of half-baked "features".

As echoed elsewhere I'm sure,
1) Yahoo just purchased Flickr (much to its degradation), Do they think people forget that?
2) We pay for Flickr with out subscriptions, whats with the brand slapping!?!
Given the rate at which Yahoo is failing, hopefully soon Flickr will be spun off as an independent again being one of the last profitable agencies on their books LOL

They're going to be renaming "Yahoo Photos" soon. That's why they folded the original one.
This one will start sending a lot of people towards the door.
I'll just start bloging my photos if this doesn't go away.
