good question. The group is going to be made private as soon as we have enough volunteers. And we know people on Flickr know how to keep secrets :-)

As to privacy, I have no problem with the rules of the group and agreed to them, but how are you going to prevent people from blogging/twittering things they see in this public group if they don't join and agree to the rules?
zyrcster, when we reach critical mass, the group will be made private -- most likely sometime later today, but good points.
