That happens the other way 'round, too. When I get a Flickr mail forwarded to Outlook Express, foreign characters in the name of the sender are not displayed correctly.
Before, the Flickr nickname was displayed as sender, but since a while the real name is displayed. That's when this started to happen.
This is just FYI, no big deal.

I have a similar problem when blogging photos. I can´t use accents in the title of the post, and when I type an apostrophe (which is the same key to use to add an accent to words like Desirée) it appears correctly on Flickr, but on my blog it comes up as ´ (e.g. can´t). I then have to go into my blog host site and correct it all by hand.
This is most likely because I am posting from South American keyboards, which are set up slightly different from North American keyboards. The apostrophe is actually in the same place but functions differently: it appears either as an accent or as an apostrophe depending on the letter which is typed immediately afterwards.

ThatAdamGuy - I am not able to reproduce the problem with the message you sent me. Can you try posting again, and if the problem persists send me a screen shot with the offending characters. Thanks,
