Yes!
like 20 minutes ago Flickr.com was totally unreachable from here ( Chile ) and after like 5 or 10 minutes trying to connect finally worked.
I checked farm1 and farm2 and they were working.

Sorry folks! Unfortunately, that was the result of a mistake in the push of a config file to all of the servers. Everything should be good now!

Thanks a lot jspaw! The issue was fixed, and you gave an answer, an apology and the exact reason for what happened within minutes.
I wish that staff like you were allowed to handle all issues!

Hey, Yahoo CEO resignation and personnel shuffle must've felt very hard, even the internet servers suffered a jolt. Now THAT's good Company communication.

German irony is not understood by everybody. A typical case of culture clash. Flickr/yahoo should better ban all Germans users (German as defined by yahoo) to avoid such problems. (Beware, irony again!)

I thought it was funny. But a :) would help clarify the ironic intent. :)

I got the joke about total censorship, I am sure most folks did. And thanks @jspaw, just wanted to be sure Flickr life would continue as normal. Feel free to mark this resolved.

I have many times had people request some sort of a [sarcasm tag] on my posts. looks like I could use some sarcasm goggles, as well.

it does appear the system went offline for ten minutes or so, and it was while i was refreshing a page, so my browser crashed. :(
the system has been very gooey slow today. it doesn't seem to be appreciably faster now. i still have to click a couple times to get things to move. hmm. :(

Flickr life never will be "continue as normal" since the brand yahoo/flickr is worldwide associated with censorship.
