I have the same problem, since yesterday I can't upload any picture - eventualy it appears covered in grey!
When I am trying to upload - this message appears - "the document containes no data" !!!
I've already wrote 3 messages to Flickr Stuff - without any result!!

myjuditz- It will take longer on weekends for Flickr Stuff to get to your email. One message is sufficient however. :-)

I am sorry to disturb your weekend - but there are more than 24 hours I can't upload any new photo..and this is also disturbing for me.
I will try your recomandation, thank you - but I guess this is a bad day for me on Flickr!

Thanks for help, doesn't work anyway, not with Flickr Uploadr, not with antivirus off, not with usual Flickr upload.

i have the same problem.
i usually use the uploadr, but sinc the the uploads fail, i tried the web uploading form. but the results are the same: the photo is almost completely grey. (like a broken jpeg file)

@myjuditz, norbijúzer-
From where you are coming from, both of you have network traffic which is being routed through a very large network provider called Global Crossing which shows a significant amount of loss right now through hosts in central Europe. This means it's harder to send your photos to Flickr when the routing is so bad. This will probably clear up with time as network administrators figure out the problem and fix it.

I'm getting the error message "! air.jpg was not uploaded: Flickr was unable to store your files due to a temporary failure."
I'm using the standard Flickr http: based uploader, and have tried to upload different image files over the last 10 minutes.

Same problem here, neither kflickr nor jUploadr are working properly, so far the success rate of uploading is ~3 percent :((
I am trying to upload from Edmonton, Canada.
kflickr says it recieves an "unknown filetype" error.

Bad luck, my dad just opened an account and he gets the same message (with a Mac). I'm on the same network (linux), and it works fine for me. Good luck to the staff to fix that!

bay area, connected via home or via work (proxy) and no reliable uploads.

how odd is that...
and I've seen it before, too.
I wonder if flicker is trying to be TOO smart?
guys - how about toning down on the flash and javascript 'stuff' and just concentrating on SIMPLE STUFF that needs to work 99.999% of the time.
5 nines isn't too much to ask for a paid service like this, is it?

I've just wasted half an hour trying to upload photos, only to find out that the uploader is broken and the staff has known about it since yesterday.
It would be nice if the Flickr staff would post a notice on the Home page when something like this happens - then I wouldn't be wasting my time trying to upload when the system is broken.
Is that too much to ask?

Also having issues. Uploader appears to work fine; it previews the photos and verifies the upload, however they do not actually post to the site and they remain in uploader. Please post errors messages on the home page.

I was able to get my photo uploaded, but I was only doing one.
That's great that Flickr already has a link on my pages that shows me they are dealing with the problem.
I've used other photosites, and they are just not near as good at getting things fixed, or even TELLING you about the problem and giving you feedback.
Flickr is the best!

I was able to upload alright last night and a little this morning...
I have a bunch of photos loaded in the "Flickr Uploader" (Windows) in reverse order so they'll be in the correct order when going through the photo stream... I looks like a bunch of photos are being skipped. I stopped uploading because I'm just going to deleted the photos already uploaded, Reload all the photos in correct order again and start all over... Will my "Bandwidth" limit be reset due to these weird upload issues?
That'd be a nice present for bugs and glitches that steal every one's time.

uploading from Taiwan is problematic too..
oh and i thought there was a bug with my Flickr Uploadr. nothing gets uploaded, so i downloaded jUploadr to try to see if it'd work better. and then i ended up with duplicate uploads. and then i saw the little link above my flickr photos to this forum..
