First, try using Organize to send pictures to your groups.
Second, take a peek in the bugs forum and see if anyone has mentioned this problem there.

My groups stop cold at Obligatory Purple Objects. Glad I am not the only one. I tried reloading the groups add column. didn't help. I use Windows 98. I have the aol window open and also the Mozilla Foxfire window open. I may close the latter, and see if it helps. Thanks, Delina

No problems here. When I use the "send to groups" link above my photo it works fine (all groups load). When I open Organize and choose "your groups" all my groups load.
If this is a bug - you should start a thread in the bugs forum, where it may get more prompt attention.

Something's buggy with flickr tonight if we all have the similiar problem.
My groups are all present and accounted for in the "My Groups" list,. but some are MIA on the photo page when I click "Send to Group". My alphabetical listing of groups ends at T. So I can't send any photos to groups that start with a U or after.
Does flickr monitor this? Surely this affects thousands of subscribers and not just a handful?

But we don't know what the problem is yet. In the meantime, please try adding a group through Organizr until we know what's wrong and can fix it. Thanks! :-)

Yes, they monitor these things but keep in mind it's well after business hours.

Perhaps this has nothing to do with the alphabet, but rather the number of groups able to load? I'm not having any problems but I only belong to a (relatively) small number of groups. (32 total)

Ok, thanks, Kevin. I understand about the drop down menu not showing all the groups, and that Flickr is aware and looking into it. I think you should know though, that I went to Organize and was able to send some picture to some groups, but then no matter what I did to try to refresh it, the pictures selected were supposed to only be the three pictures from today. Instead every picture I ever did would show up as being posted today. Clearly I didn't post over 2,400 pictures today. Anyway, I think there is a glitch in Organize also. It wasn't a smooth process, and I never did get to post any to groups past letter O.

Yes, I locked it so that our responses can be directed to one spot. Bugs or Help, whichever gets a good head of steam going is the one we'll run with for official updates.

Thanks for letting us know. In the past, I thought we were supposed to put Bug things there, and general Help things here. It does make sence to have whichever thread is getting a "good head of steam" be the one to go with. However, it does get a bit tricky to figure out which of the 3 forums to go to at times, and FlickrCentral does often tell folks to report things to the Bug Forum.
I will just start checking all the forums now before I post. Thanks again.

Hi Kevin, What I meant about trying to refresh "organizr" was when an obvious error was displaying right in front of my eyes on Windows 98, IBM, dial up, I would click the menu choice for September 26th. I would get the three pictures I posted yesterday. Then when I would click on one of those 3 to drag it to a group, the window would display that over 2,000 pictures of mine were ALL taken on September 26th (Not true). By refresh, I mean I would try to click a different date, and then go back to 26th of the month. When that didn't work, I would completely close Organizr, do something else, and then go back and try again hoping I had a fresher version. I don't know what was wrong, but something was. I'm going to clean out my cache, and see if that helps. I just wanted you to know there was a problem besides the drop down menu on uploading to groups not going past letter O. My attempt to use Organizr to get around that problem also ended up with problems of its own. Thanks, Delina

@PPM- re: Organizr thing: Ok, well let me know if it persists- I tried this a few minutes ago and did not have that problem, so I hope that was just a momentary glitch though it would be good to know if others with the issue with the group dropdown box breaking has the same problem.
But the menu item is a problem and will be fixed.

Yes: I'm having the same problem, and think it must be something to do with the number of groups, as mine initially stopped at 'S', so I left about 6 or 7 groups, and it now goes to 'T', but no further. On this evidence, if I 'un-joined' enough groups, eventually I'd get all that remained back.

I too have the problem of loading all my groups. I get down to the letter P. I'm glad others are aware and the Flickr Staff knows also. I'll stay tuned and I'm sure this will be resolved soon.
