Yup. While having 1200 random photos in my reader is nice from a zen perspective it's probably going to get a bit tedious quite soon...

Me too. I have a feed that is just photos of one person and now that feed shows pictures from a bunch of random folks. quirky and interesting, but definitely buggish. I saw the same set of pictures in the feeds from two separate people, if that's helpful.

Yep. I fist noticed it when FeedBurner spliced other people's photos into my feed. I thought it was on their end but it seems to be on Flickr's end. Very annoying, hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Likewise here. 900 unread in my reader. I subscribe to the individual contacts Atom feeds rather than the single "your contacts" feed and I'm seeing the same pictures appearing on multiple different feeds...
And yes, a couple of them were a bit "colourful"...

I'm seeing the problem on all my photostream feeds - five or six different people.
However, I'm not seeing the problem on any tag feeds.

If it helps, I didn't thikn it was random users, I thought I was getting that users "photo's from your contacts" stream, although I may be talking crap. I can't check that now.

On a perhaps-related note, I've had this problem with two random photo entries showing up in my RSS feeds, but they seem to correspond to two photos which I can see in 'Photos from your Contacts' but whose image pages claim 'Oops! You don't have permission to view this page.' which are still there -- there may be security implications here.

If someone uploads a public shot and subsequently makes it private, you will see the behaviour you describe.
Are the thumbnails showing up still on the home page stream? Or just the RSS?

The same problem here on my website, where i've included the rss feed. Irritating to see unknown pics categorized under "our pictures". :-/

Is this still happening for people? I'm about to upload a bunch of photos, and I'm curious as to whether I'll show up on the feeds of others as well as whether activity on my feed will spur more random photos showing up on mine.
