Change the 'Your Photos' url

RSNR says:

I already searched the forums for this question. It's been said everywhere that once you setup the 'Your Photos' url, you can't change it. It's my mistake that I choose long url name.

But is there any other alternative?

Like create new account and move all the old photos from this account to new account. Later cancel this account. Is that possible?

TIA

Brock says:

Not as far as I am aware. Not an automated way anyway.

The only way would be to upload them all to another free account and start again. You coud then upgrade it to Pro when your existing account ran out, and then delete the old one.

Unfortunately, when a URL's locked, it's locked for good.
You could perhaps try contacting the staff and requesting a change, but apart from that it appears to be that you'd have to take Brock's advice and make a new account for the changed URL.

Staff won't change it either, they give the same answer.

Until there is a feature to move photos between 2 accounts I am stuck with this url till Dec 2007.

Honestly for 'Pro' accounts there should be an option to move photos to another account if Flickr won't allow them to change the url.

Well, keep in mind, that's why there are a couple warnings asking you if you are totally sure that's the URL you want to use.
