TMobile banners in blog posting

adwb says:

When I mail an image from my T-Mobile phone their banner is included in my post.
This is a new development. Before they just included a text ad that said something about the photo being mailed from a T-Mobile phone.

I would think you could filter the filename of the banner image from the post.

I've called T-Mobile and described my problem to tech support. They transfered me to "Tier Two" which I suppose knows a little more about Picture Messaging.
They told me they don't know why T-Mobile changed the formatting and that there is no way to get around it "except by sending your photos to T-Mobile's My Photo Album service."

I asked to lodge a complaint and they said they would "type it up and submit it."

I suggest anybody who uses this service lodge a similar complaint.

i'll point you to this thread regarding t-mobile's idiocy.

Yes, it is working billiantly.

And now that T-Mobile have removed the text ad it's even better! The images are filtered and only my picture plus text message remain.

Here's proof: www.flickr.com/photo.gne?id=132257

Strangely the t-mobile banners have been replaced with a whole lot of whitespace.
Do you think you guys could set it to trim the trailing whitespace (and newlines) on email posts?

It's a week later, and I just wanted to say thanks for addressing the issue. I've been exchanging bitter emails with T-Mo customer support about the problem, but I'm glad to see the marketing cruft is gone from my posts. Was it a find/replace, or a deal with the telecom companies?
