El zócalo, plaza central en los pueblos de México, es el
pulso de vida de la gente local y de los turistas también.
Es el lugar de reunión, el lugar para el comercio, para la
celebración o para la protesta, y es también el lugar
para sentarse y observar pasar el mundo con una buena taza
de café -quizá- y con el periódico local. En cada zócalo
se revela algún conocimiento valioso sobre la ciudad y su
gente. Muéstranos tus imágenes favoritas y no dudes en

The Zocalo, or central square of the Mexican town is the heartbeat of local people and tourists alike. It is the gathering place, the market place, the place of celebration and protest, and a place to sit and watch the world go by with a good cup of coffee, perhaps, and the local paper. Each town's Zocalo reveals something worth knowing about the place and its people.
