About Zendoodling Art

Zendoodling is a hybrid art which mixes the style of Zentangle Art with ordinary Doodling. Zendoodles are often freeform and abstract sometimes with a splash of colour.

Zendoodling is a word I use to describe the Zentangle inspired style of doodling I like to do.

Its not strictly Zentangling because it doesnt apply the 'string' method, nor is it all in monochrome, its just inspired by it. So I call it Zendoodling :)

Zendoodles should be created using black ink on any type of coloured background, not necessarily white paper. Colouring is also permitted using watercolours, pencils, crayons, markers or any medium of your choice.
