About Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Group

Hello! Welcome to the YWT Flickr group. An opportunity for members, supporters and like-minded friends to share photos, videos and opinions on Yorkshire Wildlife Trust nature reserves and the wealth of other wild places in our great county. Celebrate Yorkshire's landscape, its wildlife and its visitors. Birds, bugs, fish, mammals, reptiles, grasses, ferns, trees, fungi, flowers, sea anemones, lingering fenland sunsets, riverscapes, special Trust events which you've attended... we want to see your snaps!
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is a local charity which has been working for more than 65 years to protect and enhance a county rich in wildlife. We are proud to look after 95 of Yorkshire’s best places for wildlife and encourage people to visit and get involved with their care. We stand up for Yorkshire’s wildlife wherever it is under threat, and work with others to find solutions that benefit both wildlife and people. We inspire thousands of children, families and individuals every year with our campaigns, and our volunteering and community events, reconnecting them with their local environment and wildlife. With the support of over 33,000 members who are as passionate about nature as we are, we are restoring and recreating a Living Landscape in Yorkshire and raising awareness of, and fighting for, Yorkshire’s Living Sea.
Join us here and share your images and video clips. Comment, chat, have fun, and show off some of the wonderful things you've seen... we don't get to see everything when we're busy working on our nature reserves, so you might just surprise us with what you've found!
Images submitted here will be used by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust in publications and on the website, www.ywt.org.uk. By posting your pictures in this group you agree to let this happen (though copyright remains with you at all times and we will always credit you). Please do not add images if you don't want them used in this way. The group's photos are often displayed on the front page of the YWT website too, so you may well see them featuring there for a time. A link from each photo back to its original page on Flickr is always provided, so people are able to come visit your page and explore more of your pics.
If you and your friends love Yorkshire and love its wildlife, please consider supporting Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, and help us to continue our important conservation work. Join us!
