The Collection
The RAF Museum began collecting in 1965 and has since amassed a collection of over 1.2 million objects, around half of which are Archives (documents). The collection is split into six major sets:
1. Aircraft & Exhibits
2. Archives
3. Film & Sound
4. Fine Art
5. Photographs
6. Library
