You might want to read YosemiteBlog. They mentioned the 140 rockslide as well as the clearing of Tioga Pass.

just got back from yosemite.. we actually stayed at the last stop on 140 before the road closure. the pictures of the slide are pretty amazing - haven't checked online for them yet, however.

bottom line is: its gonna be closed for a LONG time

Yosemite is still open, of course - you just have to use hwy 120 or 41.
