About Yaperture: The Rebirth of the Photograph

This is a Flickr group for photographers and friends of Yaperture.com. Yaperture is a place to turn digital photos into stunning matted prints by posting, sharing, discussing, and voting on the best submissions.

(Note: Photos submitted here do not end up on yaperture.com)



How It Works

1. Submit your best photos to Yaperture.

2. During a 2 week time period the Yaperture community votes on their favorite photos.

3. Votes are tallied and the best photos go up for sale in the Yaperture marketplace. Yaperture takes your photo, mats it in beautiful museum-rag matting, prints it on Kodak's Professional Endura Supra Lustra paper, and puts it up for sale on the site (while you still retain full copyright to the photo).

4. People get to enjoy your work in that rare physical form once known as a photograph.

5. Yaperture sends you a check for your prints that sold on the site!
