The idea for this group came along while I was browsing flickr for great photos of weather-related phenomena. There wasn't but 4 weather groups on Flickr when I joined a few years back.

I'm not a meteorologist or a climate specialist, but as most weather geeks are... I have dedicated the past few years of my life studying extreme weather. I am working on a Meteorology Degree. Don't know if I will ever complete school... but It is a goal of mine to do soon.
