About Christmas In Haiti
Christmas in Haiti
This is a small not-profit organization in development. This is intended to provide Christmas gifts for children in needs living in Haiti. We are asking others around the world to help us provide each child with a shoebox fill with gift (gifts value no more than $5-10) with $2.00 for shipping and handling. The goal is collect as much shoeboxes by December 1st, and ship them there for distribution.
Reason for this project:
I was born in Haiti and raised in United States, but over the last few years I have visited Haiti in many occasions and have noticed the need to provide to these children. They’ll thank you over and over for these small gifts plainly because it mean so much to them.
On my recent trip (July 10, 2007). I brought along some used clothes and electronic items for some friends and family there, the reaction on their faces were priceless.
