About Worst Photo Ever

Ever tried one of those comment-whoring groups where you're supposed to say something about other people's work and get other's opinions on your pics in exchange?

And have you, too, been disappointed by all those hypocritical "Oh-this-is-so-very-nice" kind of comments you get there?

Or have you, too, got furious replies on your comments if you tried to help by criticising constructively?

Then Worst Photo Ever is your place to go. We are not trying to be polite. We are so honest that, in the ideal case, it hurts. And this is how we are doing it:

1. We are posting a photo to the group if we want to know what other people - honestly - think about it.

2. We are then, in exchange, commenting on the two photos to the right of our's in the group pool. We are starting every comment with this backlink:

Then we'll explain in clear words, what exactly makes it such a bad photo. We'll not be shy to use really rude language, if necessary, and to find interconnections between the abysmal quality of the photos and possible weaknesses of the poster's character. In short, we'll try to be real assholes.

3. If we find other photos in the pool that are so inspiringly bad that we simply cannot help it, we are always free to write comments about them, too.

4. We will never, ever take anything for serious that other people fromthis group have written about our photos. We'll contemplate about it and try to find out, how much truth we can find in it. We probably won't find any, but we are not going to care. And we surely aren't going to write whiny messages to people who treated us unfairly. That's their job, after all.


AND FOR SERIOUS NOW:

WPE is about fun, irony and honesty. In this order. There aren't many rules other than the obvious rule that you'll simply have to accept what's going on here, if you want to take part at all, even it might hurt a bit sometimes. If you want to have fun without being hurt, you could always just read our comments below other people's photos.

The second rule is to wait until at least two other photos have posted before you post another one. That's simply because the system wouldn't work otherwise.

And thirdly, it certainly makes little sense to post photos that are, indeed, really ugly. That's no fun. Give us your personal favorites instead.

The official first language around here will be English. But if you know that a poster will understand your native language, feel free to use it. It's easier and more fun to insult people in your mother tongue.
