About WOTAWOTA (Wainwrights On The Air) flickr group is a photo sharing group of amateur radio enthusiasts who enjoy climbing the 214 summits described in detail by the late A Wainwright in his seven Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells and the 116 Fells which are listed in the 56 walks detailed in Book 8 The Outlying Fells of Lakeland. Once the summit has been climbed contacts are made via amateur radio on either VHF or Short Wave. |
