About Worthy Photography - Not Worthless

I, Michael Seebeck have decided to start this group as I am tired of repeated requests from the photography marketplace to use my photos for free or just to give me 'credit' or links. I have spent probably hundreds of thousands of dollars on photography over the years as well as much time and effort and feel my photographs are not worthless as many seem to have implied. I would therefore request that any users of photographs who ask to use photographs submitted to this pool do so with the full knowledge and expectation that they will be asked for some financial consideration in exchange.

I believe that photographers who give away their photographs for free are devaluing photography as a whole, as well as their own work, in both the financial and artistic sense. This behaviour should not be condoned.

Submit your photographs to this pool if you believe your photos are worth something, anything , more than just a promise of a credit or a link to your website.

Hopefully users of photography then will not ask to use your photo for nothing and hopefully may contact you to actually purchase your photo in some form.

If you are happy giving your photos away for nothing don't submit them to this group.

I am not saying that my photos are necessarily worth a lot of money. However they are worth something, not nothing.

Please no offensive photography. No porn.
