About Worship Music Project

An opportunity to use your photographic skills in worship by shooting background images to accompany certain musical selections used in worship.

The idea is that through careful use of artistic images, we can enhance the message being conveyed by the music and lyrics.

"Assignments" will be spelled out in various discussion threads and where possible, a link to an external website will be provided to read song lyrics, and/or listen to an audio version of the music. Photos you feel would meet the theme of the song can be posted in the group pool and in the specific discussion thread for the selected song. While not likely, we MAY have more than one song project posted simultaneously, so please be sure to place your photo in the correct discussion thread!

If a particular line, phrase, or verse in the song is what prompted you to select or shoot a particular image, you can certainly add a remark to that effect in the comment when posting your image.

A team will assemble the images into a compilation timed to the song. We intend to make the final draft available for group members to preview.

This is an opportunity to share photos as an act of worship in a real, live church worship service. Works submitted here should allow the freedom to use them in this fashion for this non-commercial use. By posting photos here in the pool or in a discussion group, you are authorizing the use of these photos for that purpose.
