World's Best Sketches is an invitation only group featuring the best sketches I have seen on Flickr. Sketches will portray almost any subject that is normally sketched by anyone who enjoys sketches. Most selected will be black and white, in pen and ink or colored pencils. My favorite sketches are works that depict bridges, depots, cityscapes, autos, ships and individual buildings, but whatever looks good, has a unique style and exhibits contrast are eligible for exhibit. If you receive an invitation to exhibit, please know that I truly admire your work. I have been sketching and viewing sketches for many years, and know what I like when it comes to sketches. All are welcome to submit sketches for consideration. Please, do not submit images with frames or manipulated photos. All sketches must be your original work and exhibition of the image will be based on your confirmation of originality. Portraits of people or animals are not a high priority and will most likely be declined. Subject material should be safe by Flickr standards and absent of violence, nudity or untoward subjet matter.
