About WorldPhotoDoc2006 - THE 2006 TOP-PHOTO

WorldPhotoDoc2006 is an attempt to present 900 exceptional photos, taken in 2006, in an unique and limited collection.

Our motto: Less is More!

We are aware, that “exceptional” is not a clearly defined term. Therefore our selection is evidently subjective. We like to differ from numerous other groups with tens of thousands of photos in varying quality, where even the best pictures disappear into insignificance. Within flickr we try to be one of those small islands, which people visit because of its special charisma and straightforwardness. If this approach suits you, you’re at the right place. Welcome!

We dedicate this project, with a separate group for each year, to all of you, who have contributed one or several exceptional photos to this unique picture book.
At this place your photos are part of a contemporary document and attract long-term attention. We are curious about what arises out of WorldPhotoDoc. Thank you for your support!

- People from around the world should take part in WorldPhotoDoc.
- With pictures we negotiate linguistic and cultural limits.
- Comments are welcome in any language.
- This is a self-governed group without a fix moderation.

- Please indicate the year you took the photo into the tags.
- We do not accept photos with signatures in the picture or in the frame.
- WorldPhotoDoc can remove photos or members.
