"Painted cakes do not satisfy...."

This group is about the artist Jim Woodring. Basically, it is "fan-site" to celebrate Jim's wondrous, beautiful, frightening, comforting, addictive, amusing, elusive, and thought-provoking work.

If you have any of his art (paintings, prints, drawings, figures, etc.), please feel free to post your pics of them here. But please do NOT post copyrighted material or images.

Jim already has his own website (http://www.jimwoodring.com/home.html), and his own blog (http://jimwoodring.blogspot.com/), so please do not just duplicate the images from there unless it is a photo of one of the actual works shown there.

The goal is to get as many images as possible of Jim's work in one place - without violating copyright laws.

Let's see if this works! If it does, I am sure you will find it delicious, just like the snake that ate its own tail.
