Working draft --
www.planeta.com/ecotravel/tour/museums.html
First step is to conduct an inventory and find the best articles and photo galleries we've created about musems.
Second step is to brainstorm about musems with colleagues.
Among the questions we are asking:
What are the differences and commonalities among 'indoor' and 'outdoor' museums?
What are the differences and commonalities among museums and art galleries?
What are some of the best ways travelers can promote or create a buzz about museums and exhibits?
What are some of the best way Flickerers have shown in showcasing world museums?

November Report - We have updated the museums page -- www.planeta.com/ecotravel/tour/museums.html -- so that it includes links to select Flickr galleries.
Suggestions are welcome as are reciprocal links!

Again, updating
www.planeta.com/ecotravel/tour/museums.html
It is great to see so many good examples. This Planeta.com essay is still more an index than an evaluation of museums, but that will come given time.

Adding a museums page to the Planeta Wikispace
planeta.wikispaces.com/museums
I would like to profile the most innovative museums connecting the physical space inside the walls to the local community. Bonus points to those museums that document this work via Flickr and through other innovative programs. Best practices - Brooklyn Museum in the USA, Powerhouse in Australia and Te Papa in New Zealand. Editorial suggestions are welcome.
