10 Mar 09 - www.worldclockproject.org - We're getting close to completing our clock. Keep the photos coming!

We got lots of great photos so far and we're getting closer to finding the first set of photos to represent the 12 hours. Please keep 'em coming! Remember, we're interested mainly in clocks found in public spaces, so watches and wall clocks in homes are not what we're looking for. Thanks for looking and helping!

About The World Clock Project

The World Clock Project aims first and foremost to capture as many clock faces as possible from around the world. The clocks can be on a tower, a wall, or on your wrist. We simply ask that the clock faces you submitted are interesting or unique in some way. No digital clocks please.

The photos submitted will be pulled together in with a twist to be revealed later. In order for all the interesting bits to happen, we need all clock photos to be tagged in HH:MM 12-hour format. No need for AM/PM labeling. E.g "10:45", "2:15". The goal is to have more than 1 photo available for every minute between 12:00 and 11:59 (there are 720 minutes to fill!)

Photos will be properly credited to the Flickr user along with direct link to the photos in your Flickr stream. Descriptions for your clock photos will also be displayed, so if you happen to have background information on where you took the photo, all the better!

Thank you for looking and helping with the fun World Clock Project! We will have more information soon--for now, let's enjoy all the clock designs from around the world.
