About World Champions

Anybody who is a reigning or former World Champion in... whatsoever.
Hockey, motor racing, soccer, baseball, track&field etc., etc.

Pictures don't necessarily have to be taken at the occasion where the people in question actually claimed that championship - but they have to have a championship title (the official title 'World Champion', issued by an international sports federation) on their belt. At least one person on the picture has to fit into this criteria.

Me-and-[insert champion's name]-shots are more than welcome.

Since it can be anticipated that not everyone is as familiar with a particular sport as you it would be nice if you somehow mention the name of the champion and the discipline he/she has claimed the title in.
