About World Bird Sanctuary Lovers - Post 1 and Award 3

PLEASE REMEMBER TO GIVE OUT THREE (3) SKYLER AWARDS FOR EVERY PHOTO THAT YOU POST.

The World Bird Sanctuary (WBS) is truly a unique and wonderful place. Located in St. Louis County, Missouri, the WBS rescues, treats and rehabilitates wild birds and provides care for those that can not be released back into the wild. As a result, the WBS has an amazing collection of raptors and other wild birds ranging from bald eagles, owls, cranes, hawks and other birds.

For photographers, the WBS is a wonderful place to visit. Their staff are committed to providing the best care for these animals and are always happy to answer questions. The WBS is open free to the public (although contributions are gladly accepted).

This Group is not affiliated with the World Bird Sanctuary. It is intended solely as a tribute to the WBS and the hard working and devoted individuals who keep it running, and to encourage others to visit their wonderful facilities. If you do visit, I encourage everyone to please leave a donation in one of the donation boxes located throughout the grounds.


GROUP RULES:

**All photos posted to this website must be taken at the World Bird Sanctuary, or at an off-site event hosted by the World Bird Sanctuary.

**You may post up to three (3) photos per day, as long as they are from the World Bird Sanctuary or a WBS event. Please tag each photos with the following: "WorldBirdSanctuary"

**For every photo that you post, you must give out a WBS SKYLER AWARD to three (3) other photos posted by group members that you believe exhibit excellence in photography, subject matter or interest.

**KEEP IT CLEAN and POLITE - - no porn, no rude language, no insults. This is meant to be fun.

**I consider the unauthorized taking of any person's photo to be one of the worst sins you can commit on flickr. If you find that someone has copied or taken one of your photos without your permission and without giving you proper credit, please let us know and we will make every effort to ban that individual from further access to this group. Please note - properly posting a photo to a flickr Gallerie is not a mortal sin.
