About Words Do Not Avail You
Pictures for which words are poor substitutes. For which verbal description is inadequate or insufficient. A thousand words would not be enough.
Things that can be expressed only in images.
Not equivalent to abstracts, but there could be an overlap (draw a Venn diagram for yourself).
Photo descriptions, if present, must contain supplementary information only, i.e. context (location, date), technical details (lens used, technique), etc. No attempts to describe the subject in words.
