About Word on the Street (Read the Guidelines)

People sometimes need to communicate in any way they can, from handwritten notes or Xeroxed missives taped to light poles, or spray paint and magic marker scrawled on walls. I'm mainly looking for heartfelt messages, words that convey an idea from an individual. Religious mania and paranoid ramblings are welcome as well. Just to be clear, the photo must feature words, images may be included but the primary focus is on the writing and the message. Wordless images will be deleted.

This is not a group for graffiti tags (someone's name or signature).

Likewise, this is not a group for your stickers. Unless the stickers have a distinct message.

Political slogans are not the main focus of this group, but will be allowed if they are hand written.

Ads or portions of ads cropped to show the photographer's clever message will be deleted. But messages written on ads are welcome here, and also here:

Signs advertising services such as lunch specials are not appropriate unless they are wildly quirky and inventive.

If the words in the photo are too small to easily read, please write the text in your post.

Hier geht's um die persönlichen,..ulkigen, schrulligen, seltsamen, fiesen, manischen, ..etc. Botschaften, die mitteilungsbedürftige Individuen auf den Wänden hinterlassen haben.
Bitte keine Graffiti Tags (ein Name, eine Signatur) und keine Fotos von gedruckten Werbe-/Reklame-/oder sonstigen offiziellen Texten.
(Bilder ohne Worte werden eh gelöscht).
Eine Übersetzung ins Englische kommt immer gut !
