About Wolverhampton Competition

To coincide with upcoming exhibition It's Yesterday Once More by Clifford Morris, Light House Gallery has launched a photography competition to find images of Wolverhampton.

Join the group, tag your photos with "lh comp" and add them anytime until 1 July 2009. We'll then contact you via FlickrMail or post a comment on the best images asking you to email us with that image so we can show it in the gallery at Light House as part of the Clifford Morris exhibition - hurrah!

Plus, images submitted to this pool will be considered for inclusion in the photography collection at Wolverhampton Archives and Local Studies (we will ask for your permission first). This is your chance to contribute to Wolverhampton's history! Visit www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/archives for more info.

To help you get started we're looking for photographs on these themes:

Forgotten Wolverhampton - hunt through your archives to find photographs of things or places around the city that are no longer there, but preserved in your collection.

Fading Wolverhampton - go out with your camera and capture the sights that are fading or changing fast - quick before they get redeveloped!

Future Wolverhampton - the city is expanding every day - in this category we want images that represent moments of change and flux.
