About Windsor-Essex Eat Local

Experiences in the last two years have really opened my eyes to the myriad of choices we have in Windsor and Essex county in terms of eating locally grown and processed foods. Sometimes it was just a word-of-mouth recommendation for a produce stand out in the county, sometimes it was a local blog article, and in some cases I saw it right here on Flickr.

I too have been trying to document by photography all the best our city and county has to offer for our dinner tables. I hope you join me and add your photos that showcase and promote "eat local".

To keep the pool on topic and of interest to people specifically visiting to see photos photos pertaining to local food, please verify that photo submissions should deal in some way with eating local, ie. photos of local working farms, local fruit stands, local farmers, meals prepared with local ingredients, downtown market photos with local food items, people buying local food, etc. The emphasis on "local" and "food" both being present in the photograph's theme.
