About Winchelsea Beach
The stretch of England's south coast that runs from Cliff End in the west to Rye Harbour in the east. This beautiful place can be open and peaceful, but it can also be moody and inhospitable - lets see how it appeared to you.
Please, only pictures that have the beach, or some part of the beach, as their main subject - not pictures of people, dogs etc that just happen to be there.
Let me just say that again.....
Please, only post pictures that have the BEACH, or some aspect of it, as their MAIN SUBJECT. If your picture is removed, that is probably because your picture has something else (dog, child, Pett Level, seagull) as its MAIN SUBJECT.
Now that the sea defences have been built up, a lot of what you can see in this group pool is no longer visible, but Winchelsea Beach continues to be a magical, atmospheric place.
