About William Klein School

Part street photodocumentarian, part point-and-shoot tourist, William Klein considered himself the antithesis of Henri Cartier-Bresson. A photographic provocateur, Klein engaged his otherwise candid subjects in a way that made them acutely aware of his (and his camera's) presence. Less objects of curiosity and more a part of a public, social experience, his subject matter is as much day-to-day life as it is cinematic and enthralling.

This group is intended to showcase new work that is made, knowingly or unknowingly, in the style of William Klein.

Oh yeah, and there is the occasional papparazzi-shot of Klein himself. Why not?
