Open to any format and model of camera.
Take off those shades. Look around. Begin a precise description of these buildings, as though they are part of some narrative. Not with a boring precision, but with the precision of a haiku where there are just enough words and just the right words. Slowly – but not too slowly – you begin to build up an impression of the elements of the city. You begin to realise these elements form a kind of pattern. The pattern seems partly existing, partly constructed. The pattern becomes complex.
