About Wildlife Prairie State Park
Wildlife Prairie State Park is located in Peoria, Illinois. It is home and refuge to over 50 species of native Illinois animals that once were abundant across the Illinois prairie. Our focus is conservation, education and recreation. Our guests come to view the bison and elk, wolves, raptors and other animals, and to walk many of our beautiful trails. They leave with a better understanding of their environment and a deeper connection to nature.
