29 May 08 - Welcome to this new group that will include wildflowers (native flowering plants) taken in the Rocky Mountains and all points west. This will include all the states of CA, OR, WA, AZ, NV, UT, ID, and the cool parts of CO, MT, WY, and NM

About Wildflowers: Western Region USIf you live, visit, or like to travel in the western US this group will give you an idea of what beauties shine in season. This group is meant to encompass other groups' photos of wildflowers. The wildflowers pictured here are region specific and based on the National Audubon Society Field Guide to the Western Region definition: "the Western Region covers the Rocky Mountain range and all the states to the west of it." Please include the locale and environment where you captured the wildflower. |
