About WildAdventures

We're looking for photography that captures the incredible enjoyment that American’s public lands provide us. This includes all forms of recreation, especially muscle-powered activities like hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hunting, horseback-riding, fishing and bird-watching.

We're currently running our Wild Adventures Photo Contest, and we invite you to enter. Please read the rules, terms and conditions before submitting any photos.

The Wilderness Society is always searching for (and taking our own) photos of wilderness, wild places, wildlife and public lands around the United States. We welcome you to share your photos with the group. View our organization's photos on Flickr at www.flickr.com/photos/thewildernesssociety/

How to Enter

To enter one or more images, add your photo(s) to the Wilderness Society's Flickr™ group and tag them with "TWS-WildAdventures." Don't forget to share where and when the photo was taken - and a funny or happy story behind the photo, if you wish - in the description.

If you have questions, post them to our Group Discussion Board and we'll do our best to get back to you.

Rules

The contest is open to all participants age 18 and older regardless of residence or citizenship, so long as the laws of their jurisdiction allow participation. Photo submissions must be uploaded by February 28, 2011. You retain ownership and full rights to all images submitted, but grant us the right to use your images in support of The Wilderness Society's mission.
