This group is for displaying only the best of Wild Horse images. Invited are Wild Horses from all over the world.

Welcome to "Wild Horses in the wild" pool!

When Wild Horses in the wild was started, it was intended that this group accumulate photos of the very best WILD Horses we could glean on Flickr. Only Wild Horses in the wild will be accepted and only those images that represent the best photographic technique will be accepted. We, the administrators, are not looking for images of a "snapshot" nature where many images from a trip are uploaded. We want only the best, only those that have been filtered so that they represent not only the best of photographic ability but that portray the Wild Horse so that all may enjoy the romance of this mysterious animal. Therefore only the best high quality images will be accepted. If yours is not in the pool, please do not take it personally but try again. We expect you to be your own worst critic so that pool rejections or removals are not required. Please cherry pick and give us your best images, the ones that make us all suck wind!

These then are the RULES as they now apply:

1. Only photos of Wild Horses in the wild will be accepted.
2. Only horses, no humans, nothing made by humans, no halters, no saddles, no horses in a pen, only Wild Horses in the wild.
3. Only the best images will be accepted, no cut off joints, no bits and pieces of other horses hanging in the image, truely only the best images.
4. The Admins reserve the right to remove images that don't qualify. Repeat offenders will be removed as well.
5. At this stage, comments are not required but will be implemented in the future when the group pool has been seeded and images are starting to grow.
6. DESCRIPTIONS ARE NECESSARY AND REQUIRED AND MUST BE ADDED TO YOUR IMAGES. For example, a title like _DCS0398, can leave us all guessing and means nothing to the beholder nor adds quality to the Group. Images without titles will not be approved.

Please Tag your images "WHIW"

You don’t have to comment, award, fave or invite to the pool, unless you wish to do so at this time.
