Label cards
|
to WLA Admin:
Can you let us know when we can remove the photos of the Label cards from our Photostreams?
They look really messy and should not be needed once the entries are scored.

It may take the museums a month or even more before captioning is complete. Index cards can only be removed after the institution has properly captioned (via comment) and you see the following machine tag added to that same image: WLA:caption=yes
Remember, if you don't see that machine tag, you shouldn't remove the index card regardless if you see a caption via comment. Only the machine tag indicates we are done and complete with a given image.

I can't even imagine how all of you are going to do your regular jobs AND score this project...

PS- it would also be good to know when the Wikipedians are finished linking in all of the photos photos they are going to want as free Flickr accounts will hide the earliest posts but *I think* still show linked photos, ie, until those that are going to be linked are linked, folks with free accounts can't add photos or you won't be able to see them. Right?
